Today I held my last classes for the semester. I’m very happy in general with how things went in the past few months. It was very productive and now I’m happy that I finally get some rest. On Monday we start with exams. And then I’ll have a nice holiday until the mid of February.

Finally the big day came and my game design course students presented their game projects in class. Some were really cool, some still needed some work, but when considered that we had only six weeks during a very very hot summer time, then its really nice what my students put together.

A few days ago I thought I should also maintain a game blog in turkish. The fact is that there are not many game blogs for turkish-speaking audiences that are interested to learn game design and development. The game design summer class will end soon. Next week students will do the presentations of their “finished” games, which will be then followed by a final exam. On August 23 the whole summer school thing will be over.

Today we entered the second iteration of the ongoing game prototype projects of the students that take my introductory course to game design.
